The Office of Administration is organized into five major components:
Bureau of Human Resources
This bureau, directed by Marguerite V. Daniels, serves as the agency's human resources office, including recruiting staff, administering employee benefits, labor relations, career management, and employee development programs.
Under the direction of Michael P. Freeman, Public Affairs is responsible for preparing and distributing press releases and a variety of publications that provide information on the agency's benefit programs.
The Congressional Inquiry section, supervised by Carl Mende, is responsible for responding to all inquiries from congressional offices concerning constituents, benefit claims or applications filed with the agency.
The Division of Acquisition Management is supervised by Paul Ahern. This division has primary responsibility for managing the agency's procurement and contracting activities (including selection, award, administration, and close-out), telecommunications, and accountable property management.
Real Property Management
The Division of Real Property Management is supervised by Scott L. Rush. This division has primary responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the headquarters facility. The division is also responsible for managing the agency's mail, files and records storage, supply, and printing activities.
