Long Island Rail Road Strike: RRB is monitoring the LIRR labor strike. Generally, if you are unemployed because of the strike, benefits are not payable for your first 14 days of unemployment due to the strike. Additional information can be found in the Unemployment section of the FAQ page. After the first 14 days of the strike have elapsed, unemployment applications can be filed online through your myRRB account, by downloading a paper form from our website, or requesting one from our representatives.
